3rd Annual Memorial Ride and Walk

This will be a memorial event for walkers and bicyclists killed in 2007, followed by a rally for safer streets on City Hall steps. Bikers, walkers, families and friends will come together on Sunday, January 6 to honor and remember the men, women and children killed on New York City's streets this year.
Cyclists will ride from Queens, the Bronx and Brooklyn and traverse the city stopping at memorial "ghost bikes," laying flowers and showing respect to the bikers killed this year. A memorial walk commemorating pedestrians killed in 2007 will cross the Brooklyn Bridge and join the cyclists at City Hall, where they will lay memorials and rally for safer streets.
