Also, I interpreted Nemo's comments as saying that driving too much makes people fat, dumb and grumpy, not that Dinowitz and Brodsky are inherently that way.

The concerns mentioned in the writeup have all been addressed numerous times on this blog. Dinowitz and Brodsky have responded to those posts, so we know they've read them. Yet they continue to raise these concerns without acknowledging that anyone has responded to them.

Discounting the arguments of people you disagree with by describing them as "fat, dumb and grumpy" is an ad hominem fallacy, Nemo.

I would feel better about the chances for a greener future in NYC if anti-global-warming advocates like Nemo could come up with arguments for CP that would address the valid concerns that many people, including several who were quoted in the writeup, have about the plan.

Have these people even heard of global warming? Do they know that the petro-dollars they spend on fueling their cars go to countries that do not particularly like us, and indirectly fund terrorism? Quite ironic, considering....

Where is their sense of shared sacrifice? Where their solutions? Nowhere. They have none. They simply wish to continue to be fat, dumb and grumpy. That is, until circumstances force them to change.

Is Dinowitz planning forums for Kingsbridge and Norwood where he will explain how he opposes congestion pricing because it would reduce congestion and pollution on the roads in those neighborhoods?
