Terrific tour today, despite the rain. Postal doesn't scant aesthetics, but in this tour concentrated on the social dimensions of Jacobs's efforts that comprise an important part of her legacy. He also looks at her work in context, crediting collaborators and comparing similar efforts by Jacobs and others (e.g. opposition to Lincoln Towers) that didn't pan out. Win some, lose some. MAS does excellent public presentations--I'm looking forward to the rest of the series.
