On Sunday, I paid $2.25 to cross the bridge across the Harlem River on the Henry Hudson Parkway. Likewise, there should be a toll for every bridge over the East River to fund ongoing maintenance and repair, especially in light of the wear and tear on these bridges from the extremely heavy traffic volumes. When's the Mayor going to wake up and display some guts and common sense on this issue?
