Four Civil Court employees biked to work today, and we all had to chain our bikes to "No Parking" signs. Isn't anyone at DOT reading Streetsblog??? As far as I'm concerned, the DOT is completely incompetent when it comes to the issue of bicycle parking and storage. Then they'll be able to put the bikes anywhere: on the sidewalks, in the halls, even in elevators, and no one will touch them! Remember: "We don't ticket our own." It overcame such 'serious' objections raised at the time bt DCAS as bikes dirtying floors!! So little progress...so many years have gone by.
