I encourage anyone who cares about bike lanes to contact Markowitz, Councilmember Bill de Blasio, Assemblymember Jim Brennan and State Senators Eric Adams and Velmanette Montgomery to express your support for the plan. The point I was trying to make in my earlier post was to make it clear that CB6 has not opposed the plan. The concern is what happens if a number of elected officials put pressure on DOT to shut down a project like this.
