		<description>It&#039;s not explicitly talking about walking, but the idea of opening up more school playgrounds, creating more public plazas / town squares would help foster more walking to destinations. 

More mass transit would also increase walking since that is the primary way of getting to and from transit hubs.

But they should pull all this together and be more explicit about fostering a culture that promotes and protects pedestrians</description>
