But to nitpick Paul White's statement in the video, why limit the "oil" benefit to a reduction of dependence on only "foreign" oil? Bikes reduce a dependence on all oil. I sometimes worry that "foreign oil" is a favorite scapegoat of that disappointing bunch of Washington-level Democrats and such who have to consider their national audience. "We" local lot, to assume I can speak for all, might do better to criticize ALL oil, rather than teeter on the edge of implying that domestic oil is okay. I know, I have a thing with quotation marks.
