I attended. Contrary to Glenn, everyone who RSVP'd in time was on list and got in. Room was packed.

Classic NYC Kabuki Politics. Panelists and questioners duly played their parts, including Hell-no-we-won't-toll Weprin & McCaffrey.

Positive sign for me was the articulateness and commitment of Kathryn Wylde, CEO of the NYC Partnership. Their new report has lots of strong new wrinkles, e.g., estimating jobs not created because traffic is bad; quantifying gridlock outside the CBD. Wylde's Q&A was strong and effective. The fact that the Partnership is now in the fray could be very significant.

I hope to post a full report tonight.

It's not just "Sold Out", but if you RSVPed, they will still reject you at the door if you were not specifically invited directly by them. I saw AN's name on the list of attendees with name tags so represent us Aaron!
