Fighter jets and even a bomber or cargo-plane flying in formation at high speed and low altitude around manhattan. I went up on to the rooftop to see. They were flying loops.

Fire box down

At some point in the last day or so, some driver apparently drove right up onto the new sidewalk extension at the corner of Bergen and Smith in Brooklyn. They hit and knocked down the fire signal box that had been installed there.

Students Paint the Pavement in Brooklyn

Not only did these students beautify their school's street, they also identified it to motorists as a thoroughfare frequented by school-age pedestrians in a way that mere signage and conventional markings do not. There are hundreds of school zones across the city that could benefit from the same treatment.
