When will New York finally embrace modern light rail, which provides far superior transportation to buses? How is it that over the past 25 years nearly 20 cities have built modern light rail lines? We can find one right across the Hudson in Jersey City?

The long-stalled 42nd street light rail line would do wonders for Midtown Manhattan, as it would efficiently connect the Javits Center, Port Authority Bus Terminal, Times Square with its theaters and hotels, the Public Library, Grand Central, and the United Nations.

Right on. Without orders from the Mayor, City DOT will just continue on its normal pro-car policies, with its head in the ground.
