the yankees lose 7-4,

A's lose 10-3, but it didnt matter
http://www.nydailynews.com/front/story/442812p-372947c.html

last night's critical mass ride of over 100 cyclists had no arrests, no tickets, no problems as it rode to brownsville/East New York section of brooklyn last night, to root for the team of shamar porter. police escorted the ride as they have done for almost 2 years, monthly.

the 10 year old boy was killed on his bike as he rode home from his little league game the previous saturday afternoon.

after the game ended, a group of 25 riders gathered to pay their respects at the memorial site for shamar. afterwards they rode to donna goodson's memorial site as well, who was killed in june.

no permit was issued or asked for.

on aug 23rd the police are having a pulic meeting to discuss their new "rules" reguarding bike rides, sidewalk marches, protests, funeral processions, group walks, in groups as little as 2.
