		<description>I&#039;d keep all praise for Dan Doctoroff in check. He does nothing for transportation planning at a scale at which it matters, nothing comes from him during massive property rezoning. He doesn&#039;t need to appoint frieds of bikes to make shit happen, and neither does the mayor. If they want to change policy they can do so overnight.</description>

And really the DOT should consider adopting the green triangle which prioritizes pedestrians then cyclists, then mass transit, then taxis and delivery trucks, and then dead last: the personal single occupancy automobile.

In that situation automobiles become the &quot;alternative&quot; to clean transportation options.</description>
